“WE DREAM OF LIGHT”
We Dream of Light is a contemporary photographic and audiovisual documentation project exploring Bedouin identity, memory, and belonging in Jordan.
This is an ongoing, unscripted project shaped by Aziz’s upbringing in the diaspora and parental loss. Through unscripted visual documentation, it follows his move from Canada to Jordan in search of Huda, his late mother whose name means guidance. By capturing the light within Bedouin daily life, land, and rituals, the work preserves a fading cultural knowledge and the emotion of her warm memory.
